This access statement does not contain personal opinions as to the suitability of our properties for those with access needs, but aims to accurately describe the facilities and services that we offer our guests.
The Copse town house is located on a brand new (2015) development of 9 town houses in the riverside village of Tuckton within Bournemouth.  This location is on the eastern edge of Bournemouth where the River Stour separates Bournemouth from Christchurch.  The development fronts onto Iford Lane that runs between the development site and the river bank, this is a raised location with a set of steps leading down 2 metres to the roadside pavement. The site has nine houses located in two blocks, No.3 is located in the northern “A” block facing onto the rear car park area.  The car park is accessed through a long level driveway running from Saxonbury Road for approximately 70 metres. The car park has individual spaces; all are numbered and allocated to different houses, there are no visitor or specific disabled car park spaces. There is level access from the car park to the front door of our property. No.3’s accommodation is located over 2 floors, the ground floor comprises a hallway, separate kitchen, large cloakroom, under stairs storage and a large lounge area. The front door leads into the hallway. The hallway, kitchen, cloakroom and under stairs storage all have fully tiled level floor. The lounge area is carpeted. The lounge has double patio doors leading onto a small private patio area; this patio area is also accessible from the car park. The first floor is accessed via a staircase; this has two clockwise dog-legs of 90 degrees. On the fully carpeted and level first floor are the 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room; both this and the family bathroom have fully tiled floors. The master bedroom and the double bedroom over look the car park; each have a patio door leading onto a shared narrow balcony.
