How To Pay
After you have completed the on-line RESERVATION FORM or made your booking on the telephone you will be sent PROVISIONAL CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION email, the amount you are expected to pay will be clearly shown on the PDF attachment. Either a deposit if it’s longer than 6-weeks to your arrival date or the full Holiday Rental & Security Deposit if it’s 6-weeks or less to your arrival date. If you paid a deposit you will receive a 42-DAY REMINDER email, the balance outstanding amount will include the Security Deposit (refundable 7-days after departure) and will be clearly shown on the PDF attachment. After each payment you make you well receive an CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION email receipt; the PDF attachment will clearly show all the payments you have made. We accept several methods of payments, you can decide each time you pay, how to pay. FabPay/WorldPay This is our preferred method of payment; it is very safe without any additional card handling fees.  We can accept VISA, MASTERCARD, & AMERICAN EXPRESS credit and debit cards. For new bookings click on one of the BOOK NOW buttons and you will be taken through the booking process for the property of your choice; the final page is the payment page - this is prefixed https.  FabPay is fully PCI compliant.  If you have already booked and paid a deposit through FreeToBook/FabPay; the card you paid the deposit with will be used to take the balance on the due date. This tokenised system allow only one additional card transaction after the initial deposit payment, we can never take more than 100% of the holiday rental plus security deposit; we never see the card details.  If you book through a third-party website such as HomeAway or HolidayLettings we can send you an email with a payment link to the FreeToBook reservation system, this opens the FabPay payment gateway so you can make secure payment on-line. Direct Bank Transfer This method is very quick and is free to both sender and recipient. This is very simple if you have on-line banking facilities from your Bank. We will provide all our Bank details on the above emails. International Bank Transfer For non-UK guests you can pay by International Bank Transfer, you can do this yourself if you have on-line banking facilities, you may have to visit your local Bank branch to use this method. We will provide our Receiving Bank, IBAN and BIC/SWIFT codes on the above emails if this is your chosen option. Guests will be responsible for all bank charges relating to this method of payment, including the refund of the Security Deposit. PayPal Invoice If you chose this option we will send you a PayPal Invoice via email, you can then pay this with a credit or debit card or your PayPal Account if you have one. You don’t need a PayPal account to make a card payment using this method. Notes Our UK address has been verified by PayPal as the address of our UK bank account. PayPal bank account verification is only available in the United Kingdom, USA and Canada. This will be confirmed when you make any on-line payments using a card or PayPal account as ESSAR Holiday Lets; a trading name of Steve Robertson & Ann Barnes. Our accommodation addresses have been verified by VisitEngland, Google Maps and Booking.com. We can take on-line credit and debit card payments using our own Merchant account through WorldPay - this is the method used on FreeToBook and is called FabPay. We can also send refunds of the Security Deposit to the original payment card using this method.  We comply with all PCI regulations and can take unverified card payments via the telephone. We are also able to take card payments through Stripe and PayPal.
